Sounds like you might have lost the tranny,or at least the shift solinoids inside the tranny.

I can shift into drive but it won't engage

sounds like a broken shift cable. (the connection between the shifter and the gearbox) common symptoms are the shifter move easier than normal.and does not move to any gears (not even park or neutral).

2000 suzuki jimny transmission not moving in gear engin reve up

Hi, my car does not change gear during driving. I am told the transmission is stuck in 3rd gear. Even when taking off from a complete stop, I have to rev the engine before the car moves. Sometimes after a long drive the engine would switch off and only start after a 10 minute break. What could be the problem?

My avalanche won't shift

Sounds like a broken internal trany part. Take it out and shift it through the gears manually to see which gears work and where it revs up. The second and fourth gears are the ones that tend to not work.

Car got gas but hitting the throttle only revs the car up!

i own an accord like yours and it started doing the same just recently that means friction disk inside the tranny are slipping ..in other words your tranny has little to live i recomend you buy some lucas non slip trans oil its helps it wont fix the problem but it'll give you enought time to save up and repair your tranny or sell it .......
