Question doesn't make sense. Explain more fully. What diagnostic tool do you have? I've never heard of a diagnostic socket. Do you mean the OBD connector? All models from 1996 on use a universal connector, called an OBD-II connector. On Board Diagnostics- since 1996, all vehicles sold in the USA are required to have the same connector. Fits any OBD scanner or code reader.
Turn you ignition switch to the on position ,does the CK ENG Lite appear, if yes this is a good indication. Your DLC (diagnostic link connector) should have battery voltage at pin 16 and ground at 4 and 5,If you can verify that your vehicle has this working order then its there problem and not yours
A 1995 Saab 900 still used the ISO 9141 not OBD II so an OBD II will serve no purpose to your vehicle. Saab 900 did not use OBD II until 1996. If you want the check engine light to go away on this vehicle you have to fix the problem and then the battery disconnected for a couple minutes and the light should stay away if all is OK.

This is OBD - On - Board -Diagnostic Connector. On Board Diagnostics, OBD-II, is required on all automobiles and light trucks in the United States from 1996 onward. OBD-II is a set of specifications for monitoring and reporting on engine performance in modern automobiles. If the Service Engine light is on, then connecting a Code Scanner on OBD Connector, the Code is picked up and the code explanation can be found. If this is a False Code, this can be Cleared with the code scanner, after reading the code.
First the fault codes, U110C is No Fuel Level Bus Message U0155 is No Cluster Bus Message. Unfortunatly you have to be able to communicate with the instrument cluster with your scanner to diagnoise and I do not think an aftermarket scanner can do this.
First look on the ground for visible sings of fluid you may be able to located it that way if not start at the pump and follow the lines (there will be two, a high and low prssure line) to the rack visually inspect pump, lines and rack.
P1128 on Motronic (1996 900 S) indicates multiplicative adaptation fault > 22%. Symptoms are poor driveability, hunting idle speed, possibly in combination with other DTCs (e.g. low fuel level, MAF (mass air flow sensor just behind the intake filter), misfiring). WIS instructs one to 1st check wiring harnesses and connectors for places where shorts may have developed. Visual inspection results should be verified with multimeter. Check all air hoses and vac lines for leaks. Also check the throttle body o-ring which is a known problem. Check the evap purge cannister. Finally, electrically test the MAF.
Check further up ahead of the bellows, may be in the housing for the console itself. I think there are two connectors up in there, but wait for other posts before digging further. My suggestion is only that.
