I can start my car first thing in the morning but the car will not stay running. After about ten to fifteen minutes it will die. No noises no stumbling or indication of anykind, it will simply stop. when this happens i have to wait for a few moments before it will start again. I have replace the fuel pump, fuel filter, junction box in center console and the computer. I cannot seem to figure it out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
You may have water in the gas. Try adding one or two small cans of HEAT or some other brand of "dry gas" to the gas tank...they type of additive you use in the winter to prevent gasline freeze-up. You can purchase it at Pep Boys and other auto parts stores. Gas stations will charge you an arm and a leg for the stuff...it's really quite cheap! Regardless, always purchase your gas from a station associated with a major brand...or switch stations. Your gas station's tanks may have water in them.
The other thing to check is your exhaust system...it's possible you have some kind of blockage that is causing the engine to stall.
Have you had the crankshaft position sensor checked.
Did anyone ck the coolant temp sensor? Air intake temp sensor, MAF sensor etc.

test your alternator voltage it should be at least 13.25 volts. sounds like its not putting voltage back into your battery. if all is well have your battery load tested at parts store.

My 94 SW1 did the same thing, that is the same basic engine but a SOHC. I replaced the crank position sensor which is in the block behind the starter and the problem went away. There are most likely other problems which can cause stalling, vapor lock due to bad gas cap for one, but mine was fixed by replacing the sensor. Bit of problem getting to it, but you were already in the area when you replaced the fuel filter.
SOURCE: 97 sl1 started stalling when 1/4 tank of gas now
It seems that cap of the tank is not letting in air to replace the volume consumed by the engine. Earlier, when it used to stall when1/4 full, there must been less blockage of air but now the air inlet must be really clogged-up,so much so that after being emptied 1/4 of fuel, the negative pressure built up inside the tank is enough to negate the fuel pumps capacity & without gas it will stall the engine which is being deprived of fuel.
One way to make sure that this IS the problem, fill the tank half, do not put the cap try a drive at least for 5 miles & if the engine does not stall, then one can be sure that he cap of the gas tank has to be replaced............sodeep
SOURCE: When I come to a stop, the car dies. After idling
Here are the common cause of surges, cold stalls, stalls at stops, slow idle speed, erratic idle speed, rough idle and engine hesitation (and other problems), it is in most cases the idle speed control air-bypass valve and or throttle valve and upper intake, these area's get full of gunk and combustion residue over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls, low idle) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.
