I can't start my 1997 Plymouth Voyager.

Hows it going. The problem is I got a Plymouth Voyager sitting in my Driveway but I can't start it. I installed a new computer, but it still didn't work. I was advised by a close friend of mine that it has something to do with the security "thing". Sorry i don't know the exact term. I took apart dashboard and found a blinking red light. But the problem is i don't know how to disable it. Can you please help.

SOURCE: 97 Plymouth Grand Voyager dash board probleme!! Please HELP

With all those problems, it is most likely a body control module gone bad. You would have to take it to a Chrysler dealer to verify.

SOURCE: dashboard gauges out

There was a recall years ago on the ignition switch. Something wears and causes the switch to catch and hang a little so it doesn't spring back all the way to run position. The car runs but some of the other contacts are out of line or something. On mine it only happens occasionally and if I nudge the switch backwards just a little bit the dash lights and everything start working as it should. Or just shut it off and restart. Or go ahead and replace the switch itself.

well start by checking all fuses but it sounds like a bad ground wire somewhere on the car

1997 voyager will start sometimes and wont sometimes

I suspect you have a failing electric fuel pump inside the fuel tank. To confirm this is the problem get a can of spray starting fluid from the auto parts store, when you experience the next no start spray the starting fluid into the air intake hose to the engine while a friend cranks it over with the starter, if it starts right up you likely have a defective fuel pump.

My 1997 Plymouth grand voyager is over heating.

My 1997 Plymouth Voyager with 40,000 miles on started to overheat and air was not on. Coolant level was perfect. Car hasn't been driven in 6 months, maybe that is why.

1997 grand voyager stalls in reverse

my 97 Plymouth Grand Voyager used to stall when I backed out of my driveway and would also stall comming to a stop light or stop sign. Remedied it by replacing the EGR Vacuum Valve little black round disc looking thing that attaches to the intake located just to the left of the brake fluid resevoir (three vacuum lines and an electrical connector holds it in place) Yw Kevin C.
