You may need to repost your question. I know less about how this fixya site works than I'd like. No help menu here. But it seems that once anyone gives an answer to a question, that question is removed from the unanswered quick view list. And I can't figure out how other techs can find it & join the discussion. If you repost I'll not give an answer so some one else can try to help you out.

This option should be controlled though the radio. You'll need to follow instructions in owner manual.

SOURCE: DASH LIGHTS DIM WHEN BRAKE OR LEFT BLINKER APPLIED

Pull the bulb out of both left side turn signals and check the filaments. As these are double filament bulbs, sometimes the filaments break and lay across the other creating a feedback issue.

SOURCE: VW Transporter, replaced the indicator stalk/switch but indicators

Hi
First check that the new switch is an EXACT match to the one you removed. There are a number of different switches that will all fit on to the column, but do not match exactly.
Re check that ALL the plug connections are fully pressed into place.
This is usually the problem and is an easy error to make
Good luck

Turn the key on for 10 minutes, until the security light goes out. Then turn it off for 5 seconds, then back on and start the car. See if the light goes off. Don't open any doors during this time.

If the right side works it's not your flasher, Its your left side bulb, either front turn signal or rear tail light bulb.

How do i turn off my check gauge light in my 04 bonneville

If you turn the check light off, you will erase the
codes you will need to start a diagnostic process.

Most times you get any light on your dash & you can
expect at least one a year, your vehicle is in need of repair

Check for codes & repair code related issues first

A code does not tell you any parts need to be replaced

A code directs you to a system & possibly a part of a system
that you need to do some testing on

2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee temp gauge high when heat is on

If your "check engine" light is turn on, I suggest scanned the PCM to know exactly what fault code is stored there. Additionally, could be some problem with the "temp sending unit".

do you fill the gas tank with the key on?

Try disconnecting the battery for 1/2 hour an then reconnect and drive for 10 miles. It may run rough for this period. This will clear codes from memory.
