Pull the bulb out of both left side turn signals and check the filaments. As these are double filament bulbs, sometimes the filaments break and lay across the other creating a feedback issue.

I have a 2000 ford focus no brake lights. with the brake lights the transmission would not go into drive .replaced the brake light switch checked fuse replaced turn signal switch with no results then i moved onto the wiper switch and replaced it as much to my supp rise it fixed the problems

try pressing the hazards on and off if they still don,t work replace the flasher unit. it is built into the hazard switch( all one unit ) change this and all will be good.

Check all the bulbs at tail end for parking and brakes, test grounds and harness for trailer. Check fuses. clean batery terminals, Re instal head light swich properly and make sure all wires conect.

Hi
First check that the new switch is an EXACT match to
the one you removed. There are a number of different switches that will
all fit on to the column, but do not match exactly.
Re check that ALL the plug connections are fully pressed into place.
This is usually the problem and is an easy error to make

You may need to repost your question. I know less about how this fixya site works than I'd like. No help menu here. But it seems that once anyone gives an answer to a question, that question is removed from the unanswered quick view list. And I can't figure out how other techs can find it & join the discussion.
