Question about 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer
I haven't found anywhere on the net where this info. is.
The body shops pay annual fees for this information from several sources. Possibly if your nice and approach with a sense of humor and humility the shop you were at will pull it up and give it to you. Some shops are helpful others not.
If they don't want to share either A. they are super busy or
and it's not a good time or B. They don't want you to install
cuz they are looking to make a buck.
But it's not like your'e going into business for yourself.
I was a PBE (paint, body & equipment) instructor for automotive and OEM for 39 years.
p.s. if you are taking it back to the shop that did the work
try this approach.

Hope this helps let me know if they are jerks I'll get the information from one of my local shops. May take a day or two though. My "honey do list" is long. :)

I have not seen this vehicle but, the center bolt or nut that holds the tensioner to the block is backed off two turns first.
Then the adustment bolt (most are accesed from under the vehicle) can be adjusted to give enough slack to install the new belt.
If this is still too tight, remove one of the two or two of the three bolts that mount the Alternator to allow for another 1/8" and install the belt.
Then remount the Alternator.
Then readjust the tension bolt.
Finish with the bolt or nut that mounts the tensionor to the block.

SOURCE: spark plugs
you really do not need a diagram to locate the spark plugs. If you can see the high tension wires (thick electrical wires) connected to the distributor and to the to of the engine, just follow it up to the top of the engine where you can pull it out. It should reveal a whole in which inside is the spark plug. If your engine has a cover on the top (made of hard plastic), you may have it removed to gain better access.

To move the alternator you have to loosen the bolt that holds the bottom of the alternator. Then loosen the bolt on the block that the long adjuster bolt goes through. Now you can turn the long adjuster bolt to move the alternator. To adjust the power steering bolt, you need to loosen the bolt in the center of the pulley (Holds it in place, Goes through the center of the pulley). Now you can turn the long adjuster bolt on the front of the motor to tighten or loosen the front belt.
