Where is the fuse for the electric seat on the drivers seat on a 2002 Jaguar?

Unfortunately for many of the Jaguar models there is only one fuse for all the functions of each seat. The fuse locations can be found in the electrical section of the owners manual or Roadside emergency service section of the Vehicle Care Manual. In a 2000 XK8 the fuse for the drivers seat is fuse #1 (20A) located in the drivers side fascia fusebox (at left end of instrument panel). Not sure if it was changed from 1997 but doubt it.

Had problem of seat fuse blowing on XJ8 every time the headrest adjustment was attempted (shorted motor). Very tiring to deal with but be aware if fuse continues to blow you might have a motor or wiring problem. Good luck.

Check the fuse if blown replace it.then move the seat to all positions if the fuse blows again a wire has rubbed through.

2 Fuses in drivers side fuse box--fuse #5--15 Amp--fuse #6--5 Amp.

Fuse #D-10 Under rear of drivers seat. Access from the rear left passenger seat.

first, make sure you check power seat fuse first, i remember power seat fuse right at below/front of rear seat cursion, u have remove panel at rear seat.

Most probably you have a problem with the motor in charge of that function. If the seat goes front and back , that means that electrical is fine and you need to check one of two things : 1- Check the motor 2- check the Electrical Module for that seat

Hi fuse f 70 30amp green for right hand power seat switches. i would say in the passenger side fuse box, left side of car . D

It is in the fuse box under the dash on the drivers side,# 66 is right hand side seat 70 is the left hand side and they are both 30 amp, i have problems with my seat to but i have tracked it to the element in the seat.
