Does not have one. check fuel pump very common that fuel pump went bad, try a quick trick!! have someone beat on the bottom of the gas tank ,with a rubber hammer as you are trying to start it, see if it starts, sometimes shaking the pump by hitting the bottom of the tank makes the internal components of the pump make the electrical contact and pump runs, if it starts then you know pump is bad.... if that does not work then testing for power and ground at the pump connector will be needed to make sure pump is bad,

I strongly suggest you buy either a Haynes or Chilton service manual for your model and year.
Either of these will have circuit diagrams in them which include wiring color codes and you will save the $20-$30 cost of the manual over a couple of years.
Also handy to leave in your Dakota in case you are traveling and Podunk, IA doesn't have a manual when you break down and it gives you a chance to do a layman's check on the complexity of a repair for which the dealer wants hundreds of dollars of labor charges.
You can find the manuals on line or in any auto parts store.

I don't mean to cast any doubt about your automotive electrician skills, but from what I have seen researching problems on this subject, even the pros are having problems when it comes to installing aftermarket electronics on late model vehicles with factory security systems. One little mistake and the system will lock down your truck to where it won't start. Consider having the remote start installed at a shop that specializes in such things. If anything goes wrong, they'll be responsible for making it right. If you do it, and something goes wrong, you'll be out big bucks to get things working again. Just my 2 cents. No offense.
