I bought this truck recently it was stolen at some point.i replaced the steering collum.now it will start and run a few seconds then shuts off the security lights flashes .i have tried to relearn the system as my local dealer told me to but it did not work can you help
How did the Dealer tell you how to do it?
After the 11 minutes does the security light stop flashing? When you are doing this don't leave the key off so long.
Yes, Take you steering covers off and tell me what colors are the three wires coming out of the ignition lock cylinder. Do you have an ohmmeter?
Or you can replace the lock cylinder. The contacts for the security system are bad. Do you have your old lock cylinder out of your old column?

turn the key to on for 11min.turn key off for 30 seconds then turn back on for 11min turn off 30 sec turn back on for another 11 min turn off for 30 sec then turn back to on for 30 sec then start
the light only flashs when it shuts down. when you turn the key to on the light is for about 10 sec then goes off
is there a way to buy pass the system
