Wiring diagram for reverse light

Hi, I have installed a DVD/GPS/TV entertainment center in my car, a 2005 Hyundai XG350. The device -one of those sold in EBAY from China- works great and I have the option of installing a back up camera.

I think that the camera itself can be connected to the back up lights in the trunk area, but I have lots of problems finding the back up wiring in the console area. I have pulled up the cover where the transmission stick is located but I have not found enough space to work there and I have no idea which one of those wires is the needed one to be used for the monitor.

Can you help me with this problem please?

Splice the camera power wire into one of the backup light bulb sockets at the rear of the car. Make sure there is a good ground connection to the camera housing too. It's best to add a ground wire so there will never be a power problem at the camera.

SOURCE: i need to set timing on my hyundai xg350

It is a pain in the **** on the 3.5L. One trick I have found is not only do you have to take the hydrolic tensioner off, but it makes it easier if you also loosen the manual tensioner right by the hydrolic one. there are 2 holes in the pully. when you finally get the belt on when lined up correctly, turn the tensioner so the belt is really tight, you should be able to pull the pin on the hydrolic tensioner and put it back in. If the belt is too loose in front one of the cams will spin to one tooth off. have patience, these belts are a pain!!!!!!

You have an electrical wiring problem. I assume you have not electrical experience, best solution is Take/Tow your vehicle to an authorized Hyundai dealership and pay the diagnostic fee... they will tell you exactly what the problem is and the cost of parts/labor to fix it... at least this way you'll know what the problem is and what's required to fix it.

Air bag light won't go off

There is a chronic problem with these models. If you have or had something under the seat, it may have knocked the wiring harness connector loose. Hyundai has not issued a recall on this, so your dealer may or may not charge you for the repair. I would attempt to reconnect the wire harness yourself. It is just two plastic pieces that slide together. You may want to use electrical tape or something similar to hold it together to prevent further problems, as they don't hold as securely as they should. I would do this asap, b/c if you don't fix it, and get in a wreck, YOU WILL NOT HAVE AN AIRBAG.
