When you open the hood, you will see little plastic tabs that you can pull up. This will release the headlight assembly, and give you access to the bulbs.

If it is the rear lights you might be able to loosen some winged nuts to drop the whole light fitting out to do it.
if it is the front lights there might be an access flap in the wheel arch to get to the bulb. You might be able to remove the entire wheel arch liner and get to it from underneath. If not you might have to remove the entire headlight to change it. Some car manufacturers fit the headlights with clip style mounts so you can tilt it for access.
You have to take the black plastic top off under the hood on the front.....than you take the whole headlight out, I believe it's only two bolts...there is opening for each light and they are pretty simple to change.
On the top of the radiator support above each headlight there are 2 pins that are locked in to place that can simply be rotated and pulled straight up and they come all the way out they both the same size about 6 inches long. Once you pull them out the whole headlight assy is now loose and can be pulled away from the body allowing you to access the bulbs. Changeing both should take no longer than 5 minutes. Once you figure it out it's a smoke
I have an Outlook that was burning through bulbs. The best way to change it, is to remove the inner fender well and it gives you easy access to the rear of the headlight assembly. It takes about 2 min and no skinny hands required.
Pop the hood and locate the rubber piece that is behind the headlight. Remove the plastic screw that holds it in place and you can easily just bend down the rubber piece to gain access to the bulbs. The driver side is a little tighter to get into because it sits next to the windshield washer fluid container. The passenger is a lot easier but you do have to remove the air box which is very easy.
In order to get at the lamps you need to remove the front bumper skin, I have found that it is easier to take it to the dealer to do. It will cost you about one hours labor.
In order to change the bulb, just loosen/remove the two bolts holding the entire light assembly in
(side marker, headlight and turn signal)
Once these bolts are removed the entire assembly will shift / slide out away from the center of the vehicle. Once the assembly is
removed you will have access to the wires/bulb.
the low beam bulb?? it's not that hard turn the wheels to gain access to the wheel well and loosen the inner fenderliner (plastic) to gain access to the back of the headlamp assy
you have to pull the headlights out,by pulling out the bars on top of them.remove the headlight then each daytime lamp will have a clip at each end.when you unclip them you will see the bulbs.
