Car kept not starting at times, so we thought it was the battery. When we checked, we connected the wire that was the alarm system, which we did not know we had. My sister did not give me the remote for the car. We cut the disconnect the alarm wire but lights kept flashing. So we reconnected and the horn keeps going off.
So, if the disconnect the wire the car will not start. What can we do? Is there a way to bypass the alarm? Is the a button under dash to do this or a fuse to remove? I do not have owner's manual for car. I dont know what to do. Help please.
If this is a factory alarm all you have to do to turn it off is put your key in the door ,lock it then unlock it . if its not a factory alarm you will need the remote or have the entire alarm unhooked by a mechanic
