try changing the altanator, it wont turn over if the altanator is burnt out .

If the motor has'nt locked up then the chances are good you have a bad starter.places like auto-zone will test your starter for free if you take it to them.you will have to remove it from the car,or if you have a friend that knows how.Hope this helps and good luck.

The starter solenoid is defective, replace it.

you need a starter. very common for toyota cars.

maybe try looking into your fuel pump. When they are getting bad you can get all sorts of irratic starting problems

Is it new or rebuilt? There is a big difference. Also a starter is not supposed to click.

Have you confirmed the connections in both the starting and charging circuits?
