Underneath the steering towards the door side, you will see a small-cap. Pull it off, and you will find several resistors inside. You need to locate fuse number 11, which is a 40 amp fuse.

SOURCE: where is the blower motor resistor located on a 06

The resistor is located on the passenger side of the truck. Look under ur glovebox. You will need to take off the side panel against the door and the panel that is directly under the glove box. The resistor is under those and it is a black box that is about 5x2. It has two bolts holding it on and 3 sets of wires coming out of it. The part i estimated was about $300.00 (new). It should fix the air if it is only working on certian numbers or not blowing at all..

SOURCE: where is the blower motor resistor location

Need to take off the plastic kick guard off just below the glove box. Then you can look under the glovebox and you'll see the blower motor and the blower resistor module on the bottom of it. For even better access, open the glove box, and flip it upside down which will expose the connector for the resistor module that needs to be unhooked.

To move the glove box upside down, feel around in the openings just to the left of the glove box. You'll feel a hook like (spring loaded) metal piece that you can push back, that will allow the glove box to fall freely down.

Where is the blower resistor located to Townace Noah

The blower resistor in a Toyota Townace Noah with a 3S engine is typically located near the blower motor, which is responsible for directing air into the vehicle's cabin.
Here is a general guide on how to locate the blower resistor in a Toyota Townace Noah with a 3S engine:
  1. Locate the blower motor: The blower motor is typically located under the passenger side dashboard, near the footwell.
  2. Identify the blower resistor: The blower resistor is typically a small rectangular or cylindrical component that is connected to the wiring harness near the blower motor.
  3. Remove the blower resistor: To access the blower resistor, you may need to remove the cover or the panel that covers the blower motor. You can then unplug the wiring harness and remove the mounting bolts to remove the blower resistor.
Note: The location and accessibility of the blower resistor may vary depending on the specific model and year of your Toyota Townace Noah with a 3S engine. If you are unsure about the location or how to access the blower resistor, it is recommended to consult a professional mechanic or the vehicle's owner's manual.
It is important to handle the blower resistor with care, as it can be easily damaged if not handled properly. If you are not confident in your ability to replace the blower resistor, it is best to seek assistance from a qualified mechanic.

Need to locate the motor blower resistor for my 1999 mercury mountaineer, it has dual air, the resistor for the back is fine but the one in the front is bad and i cannot locate it. Please help.

If you have a manual system, you have a resistor. If electronic, you have a blower motor speed controller. Please rate if this helps.

here is info:

Control System Outputs-Manual A/C
Blower Motor Switch Resistor
The heater blower motor switch resistor has the following features:
  • The assembly is located on the evaporator housing in the engine compartment.
  • Three resistance elements are mounted on the resistor board to provide four blower motor speeds.
  • Depending on the heater blower motor switch position, series resistance is added or bypassed in the blower motor circuit to decrease or increase blower motor speed.
  • An overheating protective device (thermal limiter) will open the resistor coil circuit when the temperature reaches 121°C (250°F) interrupting the blower motor operation in all speeds except HI.
  • The thermal limiter cannot be reset and is not serviceable.
Control System Outputs-EATC
Blower Motor Speed Control
The blower speed control is located on the evaporator housing in the engine compartment.
  • The function of the blower motor speed control is to convert low power signals from the electronic automatic temperature control module to a high current, variable ground feed for the blower motor (18527).
  • The blower motor speed is infinitely variable and is controlled by the electronic automatic temperature control module software.
  • A delay function provides a gradual increase or decrease in blower motor speed under all conditions.

I need to locate my blower motor resistor on my 1999 S-10. do u know where it is located on my s-10?

The resistor is located under the hood on the passenger side. At the back of the engine compartment you need to locate the airbox it can be identified by a circular piece that's right beside the fender on the firewall (this is your blower motor) to the right if it (looking from the front of the truck) about 4 -6" you will see a wire plug. Unplug this connector and locate the four screws that attach it to the air box. Remove these screws and pull the resistor from the housing.

Hope helps (remember to rate this answer).

2005 Kia Sorento only blows hot and cold air on high. Is it a blower motor resistor and if it is where is it located?

If the blower moter only works on hi speed it is the blower motor resistor that is bad. The blower motor resistor is located under the passenger side of the dash next to the blower motor. It is not necessary to remove the blower motor to change the resistor.
