Have a2001 kawasaki mule fuel pump won't worknew pump fire coming in and going out no fuel being pumped

dont understand fire coming in and going out? its possible the new pump is bad. Pull the fuel line off and blow through it into gas tank and listen for it to bubble take off fuel cap so you can hear it better. if you can blow through it then u know its not blocked.on the line going to carb replace the filter .if it still dose not work , with the ignition on tap on fuel pump and listen to see if u hear it running. If it dose or dosent should replace it again. Unfortunate as it is.

When i turn the key on the fuel pump don't run why?

There should be battery voltage at the fuel pump. Check the battery voltage at the fuel pump relay to be sure that there is power coming from the battery. Check voltage at fuel pump fuse.

Truck was turned over on side blowed ecm fuse replesd it truck run good for 15 min then died now no fuel pressure at all fuses all good

It could be the fuel pump or just the fuel pump relay, try reseting the relay / breaker on the top of the firewall. Also have someone lister at the gas tank with the cap off when you turn on the key and see it they hear the fuel pump come on. Chevy's have loud pumps and are easy to hear. If it doesn't come on, try the reset or you may need a new pump. Sitting on its side could have run it dry and cause it to go bad.

I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 5.2 liter. The engine will turn over and will run if I spray fuel into the intake. When I first turn the ingintion on I can hear a buzzing noise inside the fuel...

If you have disconnected the fuel filter (inlet) side and turned on the ignition, if fuel is not coming out of this line, then there is a fuel pump problem. This is assuming that you can hear the fuel pump actually running. Usually when the fuel pump runs and you can hear it, then there can be a screen on the pump plugged or the pump its self is not working. Hope this helps.

I PUT A NEW FUEL PUMP ON A 2000 BRAVADA AND IT FIXED THE PROBLEM FOR A FEW DAYS.WHILE GOING DOWN THE ROAD THE ENGINE DIES.WHEN YOU TURN THE KEY YOU CAN HEAR THE PUMP RUNNING FOR AWHILE.HAS SPARK.WILL RUN...

Check all the fuel lines and connections very carefully for leaks and condition. The pump may be drawing some air.

We assume you have the correct fuel pump for the vehicle, that it is operating normally, you have the correct fuel filter and that there are no obstructions in the fuel system as a result of the work carried out so far.

Should I hear the fuel pump running with the key on ?

Yes, if you got a good ear. It is common to hear the fuel pump running without the engine. The running sound should come from directly over the fuel tank like it's almost underneath the rear sear. If it is abnormally noisy, ie you can hear it over the engine running, I suggest you install a new fuel pump. This one is probably headed for a failure soon in that case. Regards, Doug

Fuel pump not pumping

You can Hear fuel running? Where in the tank? If so then it sounds like the fuel pump dettached from the supply line inside the tank.
