2001 dodge neon horn will not work . has been acting up for a couple on months now will not work at all
Either a bad ground at the horn itself, or the horn switch in the steering wheel is bad. If you have airbags I wouldn't even worry about it because they have a complex clip that holds it in.

I have the same problem, but my does honk when you lock the doors with the remote. stand outside the driver door and lightly pound on the top of the steering column behind the steering wheel. loose connection, my works now.
most likely the clock spring contact is defective under the steerng wheel
