How to replace 1999 Ford Crown Victoria Headlights?

    To make the job easier remove the two black metal brackets, then slide the headlight assembly away from the car and disconnect the harness and pull or twist off the bulb.

Remove plastic ring at rear of light. Pull light out of housing. Lift L-shaped tabs and remove housing if replacing whole lens.

Lift the two brackets that support the head light and the light will come out to the front. You may need a big screwdriver to pull out the bracket.

After removing the front plastic cowl, there are two metal brackets at the rear of each light. use a screwdriver to pry up on them and remove them. after that remove both wiring connectors and headlight will come right out .
