Whoa! This is a Ford, you better check this out. I believe these rockers are just plain non-adjustable torque them down slowly till they bottom, and they don't recommend you soak them anymore. Which engine is it?

Could be wrong, but you have to be sure.

I need to adjust the valves

12th inlet and 14 exhaust ,4cyl engine all valves add to 9 ,,example--- no1 down adjust no8 ----no2 down adjust no7 all values add to 9 simple if you take your time to count the valve thats down subtract from 9 and then adjust that number ,this system works on all engine regardless of what the haynes book says ,6 cyl engine then its 13 ,and a 8 cyl engine then 17 ,in cases of 16 valves in a 4 cyl engine then its still the same as two valves work as one ,simple

How do I adjust the valves on a 1998 old bravada 4.3 vortec

You don't. They are non-adjustable hydraulic lifters. GM's spec for torque on the rocker arm nuts: Tighten the valve rocker arm ball studs to 47 N·m (35 lb ft). Once the valve rocker arm nuts are installed and properly torqued, no additional valve lash adjustment is required.

Am put a new head set on my mustang 302 engine in no more compression y need a set up to adjust valve +

if you have everything installed correctly then these valves are a torque value that need a torque wrench to torque the rocker nut to specs.you don`t say if you have change from the factory style head assembly.
