Normally the headlights are sealed and filled with an inert gas. The reason for the moisturizing may be due to damaged seal, that's causing it.
There is a large variety of attractive aftermarket covers available for the steering wheel; you can always opt for them.

yes. it should be a fairly easy job, just be careful when removing the glass, and make sure you get your headlight re-alligned when it is done, as it will fail its mot if not done.

hope that helps.

95 bmw 325i parking lights not working

Sounds like a ground wire problem. Does it act up in the rain or after a wash? That could indicate the fuse block under the hood my be geting moisture. But definitely check the main ground, fuse Block ground, and headlights ground. Check headlights plugs n turn signal plugs n sockets. Also, start by changing the bulbs. Both of them. There's two filaments in each bulb, one for marker lights and one for blinking

Headlights have moisture on the inside. How do I remove the lens to clean and replace the gasket.

There are 3 pull tabs on each light housing. lift up and remove all 3 and simply pull out the complete assembly very easy.----------
Once the assembly is out, you can clean the lens from inside to get rid of moisture.--------

I have moisture inside my headlight on my 2007 gmc denali. will i have to replace the entire assembly. The lamp is out, could that cause the moisture. Or does the moisture cause the lamp to burn out.

{: ) Some exterior lamps, such as cornering, turn signal, backup, headlamps or tail lamps may exhibit very small droplets of water, a fine mist or white fog (condensation) on the inside of the lamp lens. This may be more noticeable on lamps with "multi-lens" designs and may be normal during certain weather conditions. Condensation occurs when the air inside the lamp assembly, through atmospheric changes, reaches the "dew point". When this takes place, the moisture in the air within the lamp assembly condenses, creating a fine mist or white fog on the inside surface of the lamp lens.
Most exterior lamps on General Motors vehicles use a vented design and feature a replaceable bulb assembly. They are designed to remove any accumulated moisture vapor by expelling it through a vent system. The vent system operates at all times, however, it is most effective when the lamps are ON or when the vehicle is in motion. Depending on the size, shape and location of the lamp on the vehicle, and the atmospheric conditions occurring, the amount of time required to clear the lamp may vary from 2 to 6 hours.
Completely sealed headlamp assemblies (sealed beams) are still used on a limited number of models being manufactured today. These lamps require the replacement of the complete lamp assembly if a bulb filament burns out.

If moisture or droplets appear after being exposed to rain or washing, you can try putting some weather seals on the edges where you think the seal is poor. Check also the headlamp caps. In any case, if the moisture doesn't clear no matter what drying approaches, better replace the assembly.
The bulbs won't cause the moisture, but it is possible that an accumulated moisture on the bulb itself can disable it, although rare.

The headlights in my 2006 Hond Pilot continually have condensation in them after a rain or when washed. What could be causing this?

what usually causes this problem is that the headlight vent is plugged this is used to equalize the pressure and temperature of the air between the inside of the headlight shell and the outside air.if there is no vent then what shops do is remove the headlight assembly and drill a little hole or two on the bottom of the shell into the area between the front and back of the headlight shell this will usually fix the problem. if there is alot of moisture in the shell then dry the shell out as best as possible

1999 ford taurus with moisture in the headlights

Most headlights lens are sealed up to prevent this problem. A broken seal or a crack somewhere opened up to let in moisture.
You can drill a small hole on the lowest part of the plastic headlight housing to let the water drain out. Or, replace the plastic headlight assembly with a new sealed one.The plastic headlights turn yellow and cloud up over time (not because of moisture inside, because it's plastic getting ruined by the weather and the sun). This problem reduces headlights from putting more light on the road.
The only thing you can do with moisture inside the headlights is to drain out the water that builds up. The seals on the headlights are bad right now and are going to keep letting moisture in. I would replace the both headlight assemblies for new sealed, clear ones.

Headlights fogged

I have a Montana and the headlight on these vans are always fogging up inside and collect water from condensation. Most of us Montana owner's drill two 3/8 hole on the side of the headlight to allow air to circulate. That fixed the problem and no more fog or water. When you drill the hole find a spot like close to the bottom corner and look to see if the spot is clean, which would indicate that dirt and water from the rain don't collect there.
Good luck and hope this helps.
