Looking for the radio code for a 1989 Jaguar

ok sorry to tell you this buy there is a different on every radio with that rubbed off there is nothing I can help you with unless by some chance if you called a dealership that carries them cars to see if they can give you a code to put in they must have some master code for when they get these vehicles used Good Luck :D

You need to contact a Jag dealer and provide your VIN# to get code. It's a theft deterrent anytime battery is disconnected or radio has been removed. TIP: write down code when you get it in glovebox with a Sharpie.

Simple contact you local Jag dealership and ask them, they will need the VIN No and there is a small charge (about £8). Then follow the instructions on http://www.bluejag.co.uk to enter code.

I don't own an S Type so I can't try this, however Ford Radio systems apear to work the same.

You will need your unlock code for the radio, see details at http://www.bluejag.co.uk

Then with radio off press key 6 and hold while turning radio power on, continue to hold key 6. After 15 - 20 seconds the screen will say CODE release key 6 then enter your code.

This is easy, contact Jaguar UK give them the VIN, be prepared to provide two pieces of proof of ownership and they will help you out. I have found Jaguar US to be most cooperative.

i have a 2004 jaguar x-type and i replaced my battery and the radio is locked and i dont know the code. i bout the car second hand and the code that the dealership has isnt working. what can i do to get the radio unlocked?

Go to a main dealer and hopefully they will be able to help you with the codes you have. You may have to provide proof of ownership
