Try wiggling the connection that goes to the coil, they like to become loose (not the spark plug wire).

What about the fuel filter????? Have you changed it out??? If you can spary something like a started fluid, that means it is a fuel problem. My last check, it has to be above 50-psi on the fuel pressure to make it run right. I had 35psi, but whould not get over 30mph or down hill maybe 45mph. Check both filter & pressure, but check pressure with a New fule filter!!!!

SOURCE: 2000 chevy blazer takes about 10-15 cranks to

I would take a look at the ECS (electronic coolant sensor). It has 2 wires connecting to it, 1 yellow and 1 black. If the sensor is not reading coolant temperature properly when the engine is cold, it will cause a lean cold start condition, spit and sputter until it cranks enough times to catch itself. A resistance check can be made on the sensor to verify sensor is correct if you are interested.
Let me know.

SOURCE: 2000 chevy blazer will crank but wont start

You may have a bad or weak fuel pump, Try spraying Carb cleaner down the throttle body and see if the engine starts, if it does. You could have a dirty fuel filter that will need to be replaced, or a faulty Fuel pump "sending unit" Before you go off replacing the fuel pump, check all the fuses in the fuse panel at the end of the dash, drivers side. The check the ground wire to the fuel pump on the frame, a bad ground will cause a weak fuel pump. Then check your fuel pressure at the shredder valve, you should have 62-65 PSI with the fuel pump energized "engine not running", anything less then 62PSI the injectors will not work. If your fuel system is running 100% and there is 62PSI at the shredder valve, move on to checking the ICM "Ignition Control Module"/ When the ICM goes bad you'll not get any power to the spark plugs and check also the connection to the coil to make sure it's working also. Good luck and keep me posted.

I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer 4.3 wont start just cranks. I replaced fuel filter, it has a new gas cap and reader and new crank sensor.

Is the engine light on? If so you can hook it to a computer, if there's an auto zone close to you they will do it for you free of charge. I also recommend, laying under the vehicle and banging on your fuel tank with a hammer while someone else is trying to start it. It sounds odd I know but I think it may be your fuel pump, if it starts while your banging on it then it 100% is your fuel pump!

Just a side note, I also had a 2000 Blazer and this happened to me a lot! So I'm suggesting this from experience. Chevy blazers are known for this issue.

1999 Chevy Blazer 4WD wont start

Sounds like the bendix is stuck in the starter. When this happens, the starter energizes and turns, but the gear does not kick out to make contact with the flywheel. Have someone tap on the starter while cranking the engine.
