Engine light on code p0732, p1782, p1787 and p0700 twice

I have a 2001 Chrysler Concorde that's engine light came on and went to advance auto and received codes P0732, p1782, p1787, and p0700 twice. Is there anything I can fix to solve these codes?

thanks for the help even though I didn't want to hear that. I was hoping it would be something simple I could fix myself. Thanks though.

P0700 Transmission Control System (MIL Request) Malfunction

Here is the deal, u have some serious transmission related faults, in order to sort this out u will need to take this to the dealer, allot of testing is required to get to the bottom of this, if I had to guess I would say the trans is going to have to be overhauled.

WOW, awesome answer. Guess you don't do much car work, indeed they are codes involving the transmission but an "ummm go see a dealer" isn't quite an answer.

2004 Chrysler 300M showing P0700, P0731 & P0732. Will replacing the solenoid potentially solve this issue? Car only has 25k miles....

1st off the P0700 is just the TCM telling the PCM to turn on the check engine light due to a transmission problem. Read about the P0731 and P0732 at the provided links. https://www.autocodes.com/p0731_chrysler.html

Fix codes p0700 p0731 p0732 p1782 p1784 p1787 in a 2000 chrysler voyager never had any tran problems until van overheated

Did you fix the over heating problem? No use going to the transmission until that is fixed. With those codes, you are probably in limp mode, 2nd gear. I would still drive it around the neighborhood a while to make sure the over heat problem is fixed. The only reason I say this is because it is a 2000. Not worth throwing away another $400 in transmission parts, if the engine has a blown head gasket.

P1782 and multiple code

I would start with the p1782 the clear the codes. If the check engine light pops back on with the codes, then start replacing them.

1997 Chrysler Town & Country, codes; p1698, p0734, p1782, p1788, p0732, p1787, and p0700? Plz help

You will need the help of a transmission repair shop or the dealer, there is a serious transmission problem and it will require special test equipment and training to find the cause, which is likely a wiring harness issue.

98 caravan 3.8 all wheel drive. codes are P0700,P0732 and P1782

0700 - Trans. control system malfunction0732 - incorrect gear ration 2
could possibly be the PCM or ECM but most likely it time to look at a rebuild. Take it to a trans. shop and they can give you a good diagnosis.

My 1999 grand caravan showed codes p1782 & p0700,& it is acting fine & th check engine soon light went off on its own. is there a problem?

p0700 means there is a code stored in the tcm ( transmission control module). P1782 is 2-4 pressure switch sensor sense. This could be just a bad connection or a bad solenoid pack. Many times itis the beginning of the end.

I got a p0700 code which is trans control system on my wifes 97 Concorde. What does it mean.

this is the TCM (transmission control module) telling the PCM (powertrain control module) to turn on the check engine light due to a fault in the auto trans, the code for the fault is stored in the TCM, to get this cheched you need to have the dealer run a TCM fault code test.

How to check the trouble codes on a 2001 chrysler concorde 2 7L

I assume you are asking about the "check engine" diagonstic codes.

You can check the codes yourself by using the key and ignition switch. With the engine off, put the key in the ignition and turn it ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON -- do not turn to the extreme right "start engine" positon, but to the last click just before the start position.
You will then see a code list read out where the odometer (mileage) usually displays. It will start with dashes in the readout "-------", then each diagnostic code will appear in sequence like P1684, P0700, and then the word "done" after all of the codes have been displayed.

One word of warning -- I have found that sometimes all of the diagnostic codes do not display with this method, so it would be best to also check the codes using an electronic diagnostic code reader. You can do this for free yourself as explained below.

Go to your nearest "national chain -- do it yourself" auto parts store such as Auto Zone or Advance Auto. Ask to borrow the "engine code reader diagnostic tool" -- you will have to give them your driver's license to borrow it. Then, in the parking lot, check the diagnostic codes yourself.

Turn the car key to the "accessory position" -- i.e., not started, but with the accessories on. Power on the diagnostic tool. Plug the attached pin connector into the Chrysler diagnostic socket located just under the dasboard below the ignition switch. Press the "read codes" button on the diagnostic tool -- you will see a diagnostic code and a brief message about what it means. Keep pressing the "next" button until you have read all of the codes.

P.S. Don't forget to get your driver's license back when you return the diagnostic tool!
