Which wires, to the injectors ? You don't wanna disconnect the Idle air control or the TPS...while cranking, the TPS if improperly installed can be an issue, but the IAC if stuck closed, wont let the car idle, neither will the EGR if it is hung open. also diconnect the map sensor, if it improves, replace it

1999 Chevy K1500 Suburban won't stay running after accident?

You need to determine if it is a fuel or electrical problem. Will it keep running if you spray starting fluid into the throttle body? Check to see if the ignition system is failing by checking spark at the plugs. Possible ignition module problem. Make sure the harness to the injectors it tight.

Won't start new motor

Is it carved or efi??If efi do this::locate your throttle body, pull the air intake hose loose from the throttle body, spray starting fluid or carb cleaner into the throttle body opening, push the hose back onto the throttle body then try to start the car.If it starts & runs for a few seconds then dies, you've got a No Fuel problem. If it doesn't start at all, you've got a No Spark problem. If its a no fuel issue, turn the key on & listen for the fuel pump priming sound. If you don't hear it,check for a blown fuel pump fuse, defective fuel pump relay,a defective computer power relay or a tripped inertia switch. If they're OK,disconnect the harness at the fuel pump, turn the key on and use a voltmeter to test for battery voltage. If voltage is present, the pump is bad.If voltage isn't present, but its present at the fuel pump relay harness, there's most likely a short/open in the wiring harness between the FP relay & pump. You didn't list your vehicle info,so I'm unsure of which type ignition you've got.
Most no starts on a new engine are caused by a ground wire you forgot to connect, wiring harness not plugged in or a timing issue.

That wire is suppose to be disconnected. It is a tach connection. Will it start if you spray carb cleaner in to the throttle body?

Where would the kill switch be on a 89 chevy suburban

There is no kill switch on general motors products. If the vehicle will not start then you have to check to see if you have no spark or fuel.Spray carb.cleaner into the throttle body and if it runs for a few seconds then stops, you more than likely have a bad fuel pump.If it does not start then you have to check for spark at the plugs and out of the coil wire. Also make sure your cap and rotor are good. How long has it been since you did a good tune up on this?Hope this helps.Good luck.

Throttle body injectors not working

If your sure that the pump is good, change the fuel filter and get the fuel injectors cleaned by a quick lube place. It's cheap and will make a world of difference.

'88 VW Fox intermittently dying after starting

These CIS vehicle are tempermental. Best thing to do is change the air filter, clean air flow sensor plate(Spray gunout on a rag and lightly clean it ) Gun out throttle body and a slight idle adjustment. Finallyonce a month put some fuel injection cleaner in the tank. See how this works before we start testing items.

Fuel or sensor

what year is your suburban? Previous model did not have ECM software to cope with carbon build-up in the throttle body intake. First car will idle rough, then will stall intermittently. Good news is that a rag and a can of carb cleaner will remove the black carbon on both sides of the throttle gate, then car will run smoothly.
Throttle body located on top, front of engine, so very simple to access.
