Question about 1999 Dodge Ram
I have a 1998 dodge ram 1500 ,eveything on the truck works but the radio and domelights,I have checked the fuses they are good
It's the IOD fuse. Trust me, I just fixed the exact problem on my '98 not ten minutes ago. The fuse is located in the fuse box inside the driver's side door. It will be the fuse on the bottom and toward the front of the panel with a black cover over it. Just pull the fuse holder straight out and snap the hinged cover forward to expose the fuse. Just a standard 10 amp automotive fuse and you're back in business!

Yes I also just had the same problem, and even though it may not make sense, the radio and interior domes are connected on the same curcuit using fuse # 12 IOD! I just changed it 10A fuse and both radio and lights are back in business!

The two are not connected in anyway. check the light and make sure its tight and grounded. not to mention the bulb. the radio and/or the speakers may just not be any good. hope it helps

I had the same exact problem. Replaced the door jamb switches and they work fine now.

I agree with westex, it's the IOD fuse and I just replaced it and the radio, power mirrors and dome light works. Thanks for the info.
