My s-10 truck, 99 model,2,2L; wont start due to a dash board sign of security activated, the motor cranks but wont start at all, can you help me, checked injectors OK, Checked battery OK, evrything seems to be fine

You have to reset the pass lock you turn on the key switch when you see the light comes on blinking just let it blink till it stops about 6 to 10 mins when it stops blinking turn key switch all the way off and then back to on if light is not blinking it will start

I had the same problem on my 98 sonoma. for some reason your passlock system did not recognise your key and went into security. you have to take it to a dealer or a shop with a computer and have them reset your passlock. if you have a buddy or know someone with a scan tool they may be able to do it to. i think the shop here charged $35. but there is no other way to fix it.
