SOURCE: Daewoo Leganza 2000 timing belt broke
Hi.
If the idler pulley, broke, with the car running, (I think is the most probable), There is no way to fix the car just replacing the timing belt and the idler pulley. This is an interference engine, that means if the timing belt or the idler pulley breaks, you need to replace the whole cylinder head, that's because the valves are bent. I just fix my daewoo, I tried first to just change the idler pulley and set up the time, but it did not work. I had to replace the whole head cylinder, timing belt and pulleys.
I got the information to set up the timing belt from a Library, The program is Mitchell on demand.
Thanks

I came here for the same problem. After several trips into the cold I found it. If it is the same as the 2000 Leganza, it is black, located on the drivers side, right knee, pointed down, and attached to the dash,
