The Rear Wipers on my 2001 1500 Chevy Suburban Stopped working

I purchased a 2001 1500 Chevy Suburban in Nov. 2008. Today I went to use my rear wipers and they won't work. I also tried to use the washer on these wipers and they wont work. I can hear something coming from the motor like it is trying to work. Can anyone help me with this. Do I need to replace a fuse, or the motor? The last time I used these wipers was about a month ago in a snow store. They were working then. Also, About 2 months ago, the door locks kept unlocking and locking while I was driving. This only happened that one time and the door locks and keyless entry are working fine.

Unplug the connector at the rear wiper motor, turn the switch on and probe the wires with a test lamp, if you have power back there you more than likely have a bad motor. If there is no power start checking fuses they are all labeled easily on the back side of the fuseblock covers both on the dash and underhood. Good Luck!!!

During a recent snowstorm, the weight of the snow was apparently too much for the rear wiper. It stopped mid-stream and is stuck. Simultaneously, the intermittent function of the front wipers also quit. ...

Check fuse no. 11 (10A) in the driver's under dash fuse/relay box. I suspect it is blown. It provides power for the rear wiper, both washers, and the intermittent wiper function for front and rear. It probably blew when your rear wiper got stuck.
