I have a 1990 BMW 525i. My windows will work sometimes. I can't seem to find any fuses blown and if the windows do work, I have to roll them up b4 cutting off car because it may take a while for them to roll up or down again. Someone mentioned a relay uder the dash. Please help.

Chances are it is not a relay but a dirty switch. When the switches on these cars get dirty they will either only work sometimes or not at all. You can take apart the switches and clean them I do not recommend this unless you have experience doing this as there is a lot of small parts. Your best bet would be to pick up a few new switches and see if that resolves the issue. If it does not then you have an electrical issue. There is NO replay under the dash for the windows. The relay for the windows is located under the rear seat and is call the A-1 general module. It is a green rectangular box located, again, under the rear seat on the drivers side. If a new switch doesn't resolve the problem and new A-1 GM will

Bmw 525 i 1990 left rear tail light comes on only sometime what is the problem.

Check the ground wire first, it's the brown wire and several of them join on a tab that is bolted somewhere in the trunk. Check under the bolt for corrosion. Clean and re-attach.

I have a 1990 bmw 525i. once i put in a aftermarket radio,(sony explod). my windsheild wipers, windows, sunroof, dont work,

You probably blew a fuse of knocked out a wiring harness during the install. Check the fuses first, if you don't see anything blown pull the radio back out and be sure all the wiring harnesses in the area near the radio are secure.

My 1990 BMW 525i is over heating

Try replacing the thermostat. It is supposed to open when the water temp reaches a certain point usually around 180 degrees. It might be stuck in the closed position.
