Question about 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee

2005 jeep grand Cherokee ac blows cold only on drivers side. Other side blows out warm air. THANKS Vic

    yes I called the dealer and they want 1500...(since they have to pull out the dash) it is hot here in S. Fla but not that hot! The heat works fine Mikey....

    Any other options?

    I can only get warm air on the passengers side. The drivers side blows cold even when the dual climate contol is turned up to the hottest setting.

    Likely you have a blend door that is not operating properly.

    If this is a jeep with auto temp then you have a blend door problem.

    There is a door motor that is not working. This is not a cheap fix. How is the heat?

I agree, these vehicles have a problem with the blend doors and since the accuators hit the door when it opens and closes, it breaks the doors. and it's a huge job to replace them.

Air conditioning only blows out from drivers side of my 2005 jeep Cherokee
apparently it is dual climate control. most common failure is the blend door actuator motor has gone bad on the passenger side. however it could be the door in the HVAC box has broken or the control head is bad.

2005 jeep grand cherokee ac blows cold only out drivers vent. rest of vents are just blowing air. freon is full. no dual air or auto temp.
THE ELECTRIC ACTUATOR MOTOR NOT WORKING. NOT ALLOWING AIR DOOR TO OPEN SO THE AC AIR CAN CIRCULATE THROUGH THE VENTS.

Heat isn't working
Common Jeep problem. Blend doors are either jammed or broken. Dashboard removal is require to repair.

Heat on drivers side cold on passenger
there is not enough freon in the system or doors problems,check heater funtion to see if it heat all windows,if it work it need to be check with AC gauges or machine for it.

You have the blend doors problem which needs to be fixed. At jeep it is about £1300, by EDM in bicester it is £255 and maintains dual control. I would imagine the recirc dooe is or soon will go as well.

My 1999 limited does this. When i bought it off the guy he said that its because of some flap down by the passengers left foot. In mine the passenger air barely even blows because of this.

2002 Grand Cherokee heater warm on drivers side cold on passanger
generally this is caused by a "blend door " motor (actually a vacuum control) not working. I don't have a diagram on this but if you watch the motors mounted to the heater box under the dash, and operate the control, you likely will find one not moving (check all positions including a/c)

My Power front windows with "auto" function on jeep grand cherokee work intermittently SOLVED - cleaned the tracks - this was not the problem - check the buttons - they were good - replaced the motor - this solved the problem. (you press, they raise/lower themselves for 10cm and then they stop. you press again, 10 more centimers, they stop again). This happens to both front windows - left and right - when operated from both buttons - left and right. Back windows (with no "auto" function) work properly. How to diagnose this problem? (I'm not sure they have "auto" function, how can I check? (I have bought the car used, in this condition)
