Oil light when idling

I have a 2005 chrysler 300. when i let off the gas my oil light comes on. when i push the gas it goes off. what can i do?

Have an oil pressure test done.
One of 4 things could possibly cause that.
Bad oil pressure sending unit.
just the oil sending unit.
weak oil pump.
low oil---check oil, see if it needs any.

If the oil sensor plug gets contaminated with too much oil (leaking sending uint) it will cause the light to flicker. Of course verify that there is enough oil and run a pressure check. The 2.7 engine is susceptible to sludge buildup if oil changes are not done on a regular basis if yours happens to have that smaller engine.

    You most likely have a clogged oil pickup tube screen from sludge. These vehicles are known for sludge build-up. DO NOT add any thing to your motor. The pan must come off and be cleaned manually or you will soon spin a bearing.

06 chrysler 300. When I'm at a red light, the oil check on the dash appears then a ding sound. I notice the car idles roughly amd when the light turns green and I start driving the car is fine
Ok what is wrong is your idling is to low which is controlled but a ( Throttle Position Sensor Switch) buy one of these and your problems will be gone, The ding you hear is low oil pressure warning going off once the idling goes back up the oil pressure goes back to being good.

The P0123 means Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit High Input.
The P0300 means Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
Clear the code with OBD2 code scanner. If it comes back on, you
still have an issue.

It look like your ECU does not recognize the throttle body. Reasons being removal of battery for a long time. Try doing an adaption and also run a Diagnostics for other issues

Oil light comes on when car is stopped but goes off when I drive oil recently changed. no leaks
First, check the oil level. Make sure the oil is at the proper level. If it's OK, then there maybe an oil pump problem or the oil pressure sending unit problem.
A Mechanic with an oil pressure gauge will be able to determine if the oil pump is working correctly at idle or the oil pressure sensor is bad.

I have a 99 chrysler sebring 6 cyl. and it won't idle down after warm up. It runs fine otherwise, but after it warms up and you come to a stop light it idles between 2500 and 3000 rpm.
Check for a vacuum leak somewhere, or the throttle body hanging open.

While car is idle oil light blinks on and while driving light goes out
First, check the oil level, if ts low that could be your problem. If its full, you could have either a faulty oil pressure sending unit, or (hopefully not), a bad oil pump. If the car is still under warranty, I'd take it to Chrysler and have them look at it. You could try a higher viscosity of oil too, but I'd make sure everything else is ok first. That cars still a little too new to be having problems like that.

Oil Pressure drops but returns when i restart
your engine needs flushed .what is going on is idle has less pressure than driving and the sump is picking up dirt and debris but when you turn off or idle the debris falls off the sump.
