1991 mercury sable rear R wheel is not moving

I have had the car sitting for about a month with no driving and there was snow and rain. They all look really rusted. What could be the problem?

You need to get it started and onto a dry hard surface (roadway).
work it forward and reverse a few times.
If that is not working than jack it up and take the wheel off to gain access to the brake drum.strike the brake drum with a hammer on the front edges of the drum and work your way around it , striking as you go...
replace the wheel and rock the car back and forth again.

What happened is the brake shoes swelled up , rust in the drums has siezed the brake shoes .
The rocking back and forth should loosten the brake up... but the hammer blows will surely aid in the breaking loose proceedure.

Your brakes are probably rusted up. From sitting and not moving the inside of your brake drum has a lip rusted around the brake shoe. If you get an some solid dry pavement lightly rock the car back and forth from drive to reverse. This should free up the wheel. If it does not then you will need to get the wheel and drum off and see what is the problem in there.

While driving in the snow, the engine light comes on and starts lugging. Is it a problem with snow in the air intake?

I'm not familiar with where the air intake is on this vehicle but it sure sounds like that could be what is happening, locate the air inlet snorkel and if possible relocate it higher. If this is the problem you should be able to find more info on at fordforum.com

Towing car behind rv motorhome

Should be okay if you use a tow dolly. This means you drive the front wheels up on the tow dolly and strap the tires down. The rear wheels are like trailer tires and should roll as if they do when driven.

Wheelbarrow on 201 mercury sable

The possibilities are depending on whether you hear the sound in the front or back of the car: You have a broken brake pad in the front or a broken brake shoe in the back; there is a bad wheel bearing that needs to be replaced, there is a flat spot on one of your tires.

The left rear tire locked up only when going forward

Hello, Most likely you have broken Emergency brake pads trapped inside the inner rear Rotor or drum. There is also a possibility that a rear wheel bearing has collapsed especially if you have heard a whining noise while driving.

Since the Sable is a Front-wheel drive vehicle, the rear wheels have few parts. This will not cost as much to fix. The rear rotor/drum will need to be removed and the defective parts replaced. The rear rotor/drum will probably be bad along with needing pads or bearings.

The other rear wheel should be checked for damage too. I hope my solution is helpful to you.

2003 Mercury Sable - transmission jerking

This is a front wheel drive vehicle and has no power-train components in the rear of the car. The noise coming from the back is not related to your transmission. I would highly reccommend going to a ford dealership as these are typically trust-worthy and always use OEM parts. I also have an 03 sable with 101k miles it has always been reliable and has original transmission. It is possible something else is hard ****.

Volvo S60 AWD 2.5- car pulls sideways when driving on rain or sno

It's probably not that the wheels are moving at a different speed. It sounds like a simple alignment issue to me. Installing a bearing could have thrown it off. You should just have a simple alignment job done.
