2003 Ford Ranger Fuel Pump Wiring Diagram to diagnose lack of pump action

My info says it is in the bcm. The bcm shows to be located below or behind glove box. The wiring diagram for fuel pump relay, doesn't show any terminal numbers for the relay. Sometimes that means the relay is soldered in and you can't pull it out. The fuse for fuel pump relay also shows to be located in bcm.
Make sure of your diagnoses before you start taking things apart.
I doubt I can help you much from where I'm sitting, I can't see anything from here.

Fuel pump relay should be located under hood in fuse box and fuse box should have relay marked out as fuel pump. Another way in owners manual there should be diagram of fuse and relay boxes and locations.

In your power distribution box in your engine compartment (Ford recommends

disconnecting your battery before servicing fuses / relays in PD BOX )

fuse # 9 - 20 amp mini-fuse for fuel pump relay and RAP module

relay # 5 - is the fuel pump relay in your PD BOX

also , the fuel pump inertia (shut off) switch is in the right front passengers

footwell by the right front kick panel.

Fuel Pump relay switch is in the main box usually located on the drivers side Fender in a black box. According to the owner's manual in the power distribution box in the engine
compartment (Ford recommends disconnecting your battery)
Relay # 5 is the fuel pump relay , and also in the PD BOX is a 20 amp mini-fuse
for the fuel pump relay + RAP module in location # 9


( P.S. - don't forget your fuel pump inertia switch , in the right front passenger area ,
by the right front kick panel )Sometimes this gets kicked by passenger or if the car is bummed hard it could set this item to shut down fuel system. Best of Luck

Look on the right side fender well at the main wiring and you will see a few fuse links,Just look for the one that is swollen or burnt.

There is both a fuse and a relay for the fuel pumps electrical system. The image below of the Power Distribution Box is located in the engine compartment.

then choose the 1st owner manual printing and should be between page # 184 to 200.
