My 94 topaz stalls out when i'm ideling?? Has anybody had this problem before or any suggestions???

You mean for the smooth shifts on the automatic transmission? I don't think a '94 would have one, but if there is, it will be somewhere on the transaxle case. Just look for a small round canister with a vacuum hose attached.

Apply vacuum with a hand held vacuum pump, the engine will stall out or run really rough. If you have a very rough idle wet your fingertips and touch the lower part of the valve , if it is leaking then you will hear a sizzle and the valve will be very hot, replace the valve..

There was no prescribed universal location for obd 1 diagnostic connectors and it could be almost anywhere.

I suggest you speak to someone who is familiar with the model or try a dedicated forum for your model.

Dirty or sticking idle air control valve.

the very best thing to do is get an auto manual for your car,they cost about $20.00 at auto zone or advance auto parts,even nappa auto parts should have what you need. fortunately for you ai that the 94 topaz is not really that hard to doe the transmission replacement on. the book will have step by step instructions and tips to save you questions and time.both front wheels have to come off,the cars going to have to be up enough off the ground so the transmission will clear to come out from underneath the car.if you're only replacing both axles,there's no need to remove the transmission.i want to be clear with you on that issue.front wheel drives are'nt that complicated to work on,it's just that your used to rear wheel drives right?take my advice please just buy the book and you'll see the section on axle replacement,follow those directions and you wont have problems.my only question is this,are the transmissions on both cars the same? if so then it's a go! thank you for choosing fixya.com and wish you the very best of luck!

It sounds to me like you replaced everything but the most likely cause of a stall while driving...The crank sensor.

if it only stalls hot relace the ign module on distributor

the bands need adjustment and probabley a filter .not ajob you can do at home.but any auto trans mission place wii do it in a short time

Normally this kind of a problem is a fuel block...there so many other ways to block...other than the filter
