SOURCE: trying to locate fuel filter on 06 chevy cobalt

Hello kino26763: You can locate the fuel filter at the rear of the car. You will need to raise the car so you can get under it. Be sure to use safety stands for your protection. The filter will be just in front of the rear axle. Passenger side at the gas tank. Should be a small round cylinder looking can. There should be three fuel lines coming off of the filter.
If this helps please rate the information supplied. This helps us insure you received the right help. Should you need further help please just ask. Thank You for using FixYa. Roger

SOURCE: Key won't turn in 2008 Chevy Cobalt. Tried moving

now what it sounds like is the key has a sensor built in it the keys cost around 60.00$ but this is most likely what is wrong. the sensor is a security feature with the car if the light glows while trying to turn the car then this your problem :)

Where is the 4 way's flasher located in a 2008 Chevy Cobalt?

The Chevy cobalt does not have a flasher relay, the cobalt turn signals are fully solid state and run through the PCM (powertrain control module) in the car, the sound comes from your speaker in the front left

2008 chevy cobalt engine light on

Your Po449 code means: Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Vent Solenoid Control Circuit. Check to see if anything on you EVAP system has gotten disconnected and make sure that none of your hoses have gotten old and bridle or have holes. If everything looks ok, you probably have to replaced the Vent Solenoid Valve, which is located on the EVAP canister.

2008 chevy cobalt has trouble starting and has a strong fuel smell

If the fuel system is dumping too much fuel into the cylinders, the check engine light should be on and you should be able to get trouble codes from the computer. The codes would point you in the direction of the problem.
Is the light on ?
