On all speeds, is it dead sounding or only no air flow???
wow no symptoms posted only this goose chase deal.

use the scan tool yet? see all DTC errors.
2008 cars can report most cause of lost power etc,
not scanning, invites expensive gue$$ing.!!

HVAC 101: (
gdoes the motor have 12vdc on high? at connector to it>?
on all speed's (now that is a KEY FACT there)

  1. defeat air bag first or die , fiddling these parts.
  2. do the HVAC calibration yet? per FSM.
  3. scan it yet ,if not you will guess wrong. I promise,
  4. i have to stop my online page ,is missing the wiring sections.

calibrate damper:
Use this procedure to ensure that the A/C-heater control is correctly calibrated to the blend door actuator. If the calibration is not correct, the heating-A/C system may experience a condition where full heating or cooling capabilities cannot be obtained.

Many steps can not be done with out a real jeep scan system.
sorry, cant.

SOURCE: how to replace a blower motor resistor in a 2004 jeep liberty

You have to take the glove box off and it is right behind it, need a #20 Torx to take it replace it. The glove box is the hardest part of the job, I just replaced mine on an 05 Grand Cherokee but it didn't fix it for me, was well worth the $8.60 to try though.

SOURCE: Liberty HVAC blower motor only works on hi speed

The HVAC Blower Motor Resistor needs to be replaced. It is located in behind the glove box. You have to remove the glove box which is easily done by releasing two clips located on each side of the compartment door. Then slide the cover to the right and the cover will come right off. I just had my replaced today and it only took the garage 10 minutes to install the new one.

Blower motor runs continuously after replacing the resistor

Check to see if you crossed the wires when doing the replacements. One other thing....the new relay could be bad and stuck in the on position.Best Wishes

2010 jeep blower stays running after button off

changing the blower motor was a waste of time and money, you have power going to the blower after the switch (button) is turned off, could be a bad switch

I have a 2008 Jeep Liberty. The heater/air blower just quit working, I checked the fuse and that was good. What's the problem?

most likely its the blower motor unless it has a relay that you cant check you just have to replace it. sometimes you will have a few relays that are the same and you can use one just to see if thats the problem, but make sure its not one that controls anything major.

2005 Jeep Liberty heater controll only works on High.

The problem that is causing your blower to only work on high is a part called a blower motor resistor. It works by taking the voltage that controls the blower and reducing it to slow down the motor so on other blower settings it wouldn't be blowing as much air as if it was on high. It seems to be a common part that goes bad in alot of different make and model vehicles. Not a very expensive part and quite simple to change for the do it yourselfer. If you replace it yourself than any local parts store would be able to tell you the exact location it is in. Good luck and i hope this helped you.

2002 Jeep Liberty - Air conditioner not blowing. Replaced blower relay switch - Still not blowing. When car is in motion, you can feel cold air at the vent, but the blower is not blowing the air into the...

OK. So the blower notor isn't operating. Do you have power to the blower motor? The resistor is new from what I got. If you don't have power to the blower motor, then check the speed control switch and fuses. If you have power at the blower motor, replace the blower motor
