My 2004 Lincoln Towncar Signature suddenly developed this habit of setting off the alarm for no reason at all. No wind, no one touching it, etc. How can I bypass this alarm?

open your hood locate the back of the light that you want to replace these are usually held in place by self locks turn the light counterclockwise until it unlocks pull it out of the opening be sure that you dont touch the tip of the new bulb with your finger or hand or youll blow it as soon as you turn it on (the oils in your skin) put the new one in and reverse the process to install.
