Check bulbs. if bulbs are good check bulb sockets. I would suspect one or the other are bad.

SOURCE: 2002 Ford Explorer - Drivers side door lock, rear

Aside from the fuses, your drive side power door lock may be failing to work because of a bad door-lock relay system, or, alternatively, the locking switch/button, itself, is not malfunctioning and in need of replacement.

A great handyman site that specifies the above probable causes and more is the following link:

SOURCE: ford focus wiring

same thing happened to us.  My wife came home and said the rear brake lights were stuck on so I assumed it was the brake switch...not so. Took car for a ride and noticed rear wiper did not work and when I hit the brake the rear hatched opened and door locks blew out.  I started by looking at the wires in the gromet above the hatch and found almost all the wires were bare.  Therefore power was jumping  the bare wires and traveling back down the third break light and to the rear brake lights and visa versa.. a very dangerous situation.  The best that I can tell is the wires are so short in length that they pull and chafe every time you open and close the hatch...very poor design...   Note: we bought our vehicle brand new and some of the wires had electrical tape on them....seems mickey moused.

SOURCE: 2003 ford focus zx3 How to replace rt front marker bulb ???

the inner fender will provide a way. I would simply take it to a store and ask them nicely if they will do the install - -many times they will do it and at no charge. - if you must - -carefully pull away the inner fender from under the car - and look for the back of the marker -

DO NOT PRY on the plastic or you will break it and still not be able to change out the bulb.

How do you bleed the brakes on a 2006 ford focus?

start at the rear passenger side, then the drivers side rear, then onto the front passengers side, then finally the front drivers side, you can do it this way if you have the correct tool which you can borrow from many auto part supply stores ( with a small deposit ) http://www.youtube.com/user/scottykilmer#p/search/0/L0oUejw5Edc

2003 ford focus replaced brake switch lights will work in park but when i engage revs neut drive brake lights stay ?????

I have the same problem with my 03 Focus hatchback! Someone stoppedme yesterday to tell me that they looked like they were always on when i was driving but when i was in "Park" they worked... This particular driver was also driving a focus hatchback and asked me if my Cruise Control was working.. It actually was not and he told me the same thing happened with his focus. He said it was a wire attached to the back brake lights that had broken. I have not yet gotten it fixed. has anyone else had this problem?

Emergency Flashers totally out, Rear lights malfunctioning

Check the ground on the passenger side rear lights, it's likely bad. As for the hazards, sounds like a bad flasher or fuse.

Are there any pictures showing where to attach the freon canister to on my 2003 Ford Focus air conditioner?

The low pressure port is behind the passenger fender liner. Remove the right front tire so you can remove the liner.

Detach the wheel arch trim panel on the passenger's side (driver's side shown).
  • Remove six bolts.
  • Remove the trim panel.

Headlight problem

first off if you paid to have it replaced then i would take it back to them for the adjustment if not there will be some sort of adjustment screws on the whole lamp assembly not sure exactly where on a focus but if you are persistant you will find them. then find a spot to park car close to a wall so you can see the lights projected on the wall and adjust to the driver side level
