Where is the a/c compressor relay located on a pontiac grand am

It can be in one of two places, if you have an under hood fuse center it is the #12 relay in the fuse center. It may also be located under hood on the passenger side at the firewall near the heater motor.

In the underhood fusebox -- on the right hand side; the second relay in from the right. You have to remove cover to gain access to fuse box.

SOURCE: tail lights & dash lights went out.

not likely to have a relay in these circuits. to lose both of these something else like a ground could be the problem. try the tail lights first do you have any thing? brake lights backup light , running light. look for fuse in inside fuse box and check for voltage at the fuse. need more info from you. good luck
