Stereo/nav/sync system in 2011Ford F350 stopped working after batteries had died. Ford dealership says the "radio is broke". Was hoping there is a reset on it.

I would demand the system be replace, The system goes for over 1500.00 dollars and No one outside of ford can fix it because there is no parts available. I would call ford customer service hot line to file a complaint against the dealer. You are not getting the customer satisfaction you deserve.
The dealer is going to keep putting it off and when the warranty runs out then they will magically know what to replace.
Stay active on Ford to replace the unit.

hi, yeah this is a common problem. And the dealership will charge you about £40 just to reset the radio so they can get the code (thats what they tell you anyway)

if you can take the radio out and post the serial number that is on the side, should start with the letter M****** i should be able to post you the radio code using your serial number.

You need to enter a security code found in your owners manual, sometimes when the battery is dead for a certain time or replaced, it goes into security mode.
