I have a 97 Chrysler LHS and the auto-fan control went out. It now works on on high fan only "all the time. the fan cannot be shut off or slowed. Temp control appears to still work. Anyone know of a fix?
I believe you are going to need a new control unit as it has the blower resistor built into it. It may have a seperate resistor though, so ask your local dealer or parts store for a blower motor resistor.

Mine too. I could tap DOWN on it with two fingers to get it to come on long enough to find out 1). takes 12 sec. to go from all the way "High" to "Lo", 2). when you hit "Auto" for A.C. "Recirculate" is on, but when turn fan down, (disengaging the "Auto" to Manual) the Recirculate goes off and has to be manually turned back on. That should be enough to get you controlling your climate blind. Otherwise you have to relace the in-dash control panel.

The Temperature Control Head is the unit in the dash that displays temperature and status of the climate control system. This unit is known to fail. I replaced mine with another one--used--and it solved the problem.
check fuses with test light - walmart sells them cheap - also check with local repair shop - they will look for u for cheap -- also - take down the vin number and call the local dealer - ask about recalls - u never know what is there and some recalls are for life -
Is your climate control center working, can you manuelly turn the fan control to its lowest speed. If you press and hold the off button below the auto button that should turn off the fan
