Will a1996 honda civic front door fit 2000 honda civic dx

The body style was the same from 1996 to 2000 for the Honda Civic. Are both of the Civics similar in body style as in they have the same number of doors? Not sure if a wagon or hatchback would interchange with a regular 2 door coupe.

Misfires

what we do is, conduct simple tests to find what is going on.
but first do that missed , 60,000 mile tune up, it might fix the problem
in FACT , tuneups are 100% designed to what, stop misfire.

my wild guess is it flooding.
are the spark tips (all) soaking in fuel , stalled?

thats one test, and is free, for any show with basic tools.

if you need more help tell engines option and country.

The sixth generation featured updated styling although less radical than previous redesigns. Suspension and engine options were available along with their first Natural Gas Powered Civic, the GX. From 1996-2000 the Civic was sold under the CX, DX, EX, EXR, HX, LX, and for Canada, SE, and Si trims; all base models were made with 1.6L engines. The EX-CX are all SOHC (Honda D engine). The CX, DX, and LX all have D16y7 non-VTEC engines; whereas the EX has a D16y8 VTEC, and the HX has D16y5 VTEC-E. The USDM Si and Canadian SiR came with a DOHC (B16A2 VTEC). The first civic SI coupe EM1 was introduced in 1999 until 2000. Europe saw a DOHC 1.6 VTI hatch and sedan and a DOHC 1.8VTI engine was available for the Domani related five-door liftback and estate..

92 honda civic hatchback new starter spins does not engage flywheel, could it be a fuse

unlikely as the motor spins. It appears that the motore solenoid is allowing the motor to spin before engaging the teeth in the ring gear. ON a lot of starters the pivot pin is adjustable to allow for correct engagement.Remove the starter and check that the solenoid is fact connected to the clutch part of the starter. Check that you have the correct starter for the engine

Will a cylinder head from a 1996 honda civc 1.5l non vtec work correctly on a 93 honda civic 1.5l non vtec

The 1996 civic has a 1.6L b-16 engine. The only difference between the v-tec and non v-tec engine is the dual overhead cam i believe. The 93 civic also should have a b-16 engine in it. The cylinder head should work.......

1996 Honda Civic

What the previous owner told you could be correct(that is 33mpg), B16A1 Vtec engine were made for power and fuel efficiency. Your clutch upgrade would not affect your fuel consumption unless you feel anything slipping during acceleration. I say you give your engine a good tune up and compare the milage again.

Keyless entry system

The best awnser I could give would be to take the car to a installer and have them hook it up for you, This is the only way you will be able to keep the manufacture warreny valed. If anything is not working properly you can have it fixed for free. It should not cost very much. And if you still have a warrenty on your car it wont bother it. But if you still want to do it your self send me a email address to [email protected]
and I will find you a correct wiring diagram. Thank YOU Good Luck
