You have a memory code stored in the computer, it will need to be scanned. A local Auto-zone can read some system codes. Usually an experienced mechanic with a good scanner is a better option.

Many people are using the incorrect specification in auto transmission systems requiring Dia Queen SP III transmission fluids, this is due to confusion arising from the fact that many people believe DEXRON III is suitable, IT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR MITSUBISHI AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS requiring SP III.

What is the difference between engine oil and transmission oil?

Engine oil lubricates the engine bearings and piston rings. It has different properties and is much lighter in viscosity than gear oil (standard transmissions) or ATF (automatics). Gear oil is much thicker (high viscosity) and ATF is a hydraulic fluid.
