I suspect you broke a torsion spring in the trunk. This can be replaced by you, but you won't be happy if it snaps you.

Hi, on the 3800 motor you can find the oil filter located on the passenger side of the engine, sort of behind the right front wheel. Good luck!

The average life of a battery is 3 good years, regardless how BIG, or how it cost. Anything after that is a blessing. Personally, I would replace the battery ASAP, and then with a FULLY CHARGED battery. Then drive, and see if the problem still remains. Hope this helps

Idle position switch or sensor. I had 93 that would stall when i came to a stop. Cost me $43 but it was worth it. I don't know if this will fix it, but it sounds like it would.
