How do I remove the front passenger side door handle on my 2006 Nissan pathfinder. There is a pink clip on the back of the door handle that is connected to a rod that I have no idea how to remove without breaking it?

First, you remove the inside door panel. If you have reasonable experience with fixing stuff, after that it will become clear what to do.

The door handle is held in by 2 10mm nuts. Pull the clear plastic back to see. They are a little tricky to get off but not too difficult. Don't forget to remove the rod for the lock cylinder.

On the inside trim, you can remove screws (these screws may be covered by filler pieces or may be visible, or they may require you pry a plastic piece off that covers the screws) that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you need to pull back the weather seal and then you can access the bolts securing the outer handle
