My Hummer H2 2003 model had a problem starting when its warm. Like when I start it in the morning, its normal, but after driving it for a few minutes and the engine is warm, I had difficulty starting

My Hummer H2 2003 model had a problem starting when its warm. Like when I start it in the morning, its normal, but after driving it for a few minutes and the engine gets warm and stop the engine, I had difficulty starting it back, atleast i have to try 2-3 times before is starts.

I had this same problem with my 2003 H2, my mechanic found that the fuel diaphragm was cracked and this was allowing my truck to flood. If it was a cold start, the extra fuel would evaporate and it would start fine. It actually got to the point where I would stall at a stop light or stop sign at idle. The part was is the neighborhood of $175.00 and about 1 hour of labor to install.

When it is cold out and I start the car in the morning and put the car into drive there is a hesitation for up to 5 or six seconds
In really cold parts of the country that is pretty normal. Your automatic transmission fluid needs a few seconds to expand and build pressure. Let the car warm up for a minute or so on those really cold mornings.

2006 H3 engine will not start periodically
It might be the Starter Safety Switch which prevents the car from starting while in gear. Try jiggling the shifter while in Park, or put it in Neutral and try it.
