In trunk on left side there should be a manual pull cable to operate the door if the electrical solenoid fails to operate when pushing the fuel door button on the left side of the dash near the trunk lid button.

How can I accurately check my fuel system/ injectors/ pressure/ fuses.

First thing you need to do is fill it up with about 10 gallons of gas and then locate the fuel reset button. This is going to be a button that you will have to find the location of in your manual. This is a safety feature for the car when it runs out of fuel. It will keep the gas from getting to the engine until it is pushed and reset.

My hhr ran out of gas, filled it, now it wont start at all.

Only Ford products have a Fuel Safety
Reset Switch & they only open in an
accident
Have it towed to a shop & diagnosed
Given the age & the fact you ran it out
of fuel,I would say the fuel pump needs
to be replaced

My altima 05 gas fuel door cover doesnt want to

Hello and thank you for using FixYa

The most common thing is that the fuel door is bent. This normally happens from opening the door to far or slamming it. You can try to manually bend it around to try to straighten it. If that does not work, then the gas door will need to be replaced and painted to match you car.

Thanks Jay!

Ran out of gas car wont start

first make sure theirs enough gas in the car now, about 5 gallons. next open the gas door, then the cap. next put your ear to the open fule filler neck. then have someone put the key in the "on" position so teh dash lights up and all, but dont start. this should trigger the pump to start, if you can hear a buzz then the pumps on and working, if not the pump is dead.if this is the case just be sure by checking the fuses to confirm. only way to get to the pump is drop the tank. also dropping the rear exhaust helps too.
