SOURCE: Spark Plugs
It is very difficult to change it is all done by feel as you cannot see it. You need to pull the wire off and "remember" the path it took to come out as this is the way you will have to remove and install the plug and put back the wire. Also, be very mindfull while installing the plug because it can be stripped out fairly easy if your not carefull. Good luck.

SOURCE: Nissan xterra 2003 car noisy problem
If it's the water pump there should be water leaking, if it's the steering pump the noise would change as you turn the steering wheel left to right. If it's constant, it could be just old belt and bad idler and tension pully. Start buy praying a little water to the belt while the engine is running and if the noise goes away, the belt is in time to be chaged. If the noise is still there, then most likly it's the ilder bering or tension bearing. Good luck
SOURCE: 2001 Nissan Xterra Knock sensor Took
it is a single wire sensor under the lower intake manifold. they are common to fail. it is a pretty big job to do. if you have the upper intake manifold then you need to remove the fuel injection rail and remove the lower intake manifold requiring new lower gaskets and the coolant will also drain to this level. watch for coolant draining into the intake ports of the heads that can cause hydro-locking. once the lower intake manifold is removed you will see the sensor right on top of the engine block about 3/4 the way back. good luck....

I couldn't find much as well. I gave you what I had in my service manual for the 03. Don't know if it will help any but thought it may a little. Looks like there was a chain and a belt for that year and wasn't sure what you had. If you need any info for that I do have a service manual on the computer here at my shop so if you have any questions or need any diagrams (hope better then these) feel free to email me at [email protected] and I will be happy to email back what I have. Don't think this is going to help you much but here are the pictures and good luck.
