Head lights, tail lights and dash lights don't work. inside lights, brake lights, and back up lights do work.

Have already replaced the light switch, but no go. can turn on the inside lights with the dimmer switch though. Van sat for a while and a squirrel was keeping house under the hood. thinking may be a short in a wire but don't know where to look. don't know if related but static in front right speaker periodically whether radio on or not. also cruise control doesn't work. Need as detailed answer as possible so I know where to look and what to do. Thanks! Need to be able to drive in dark asap as new job starting soon.

Need so check ground wires. start at your head lights and fallow the wire harness til you see a wire grounded to the body. check and make sure connections are good and that the wire isnt broken anywhere

SOURCE: headlights won't work

Look under the Hood and Locate the Fuse Relay Box. There are Relays in this Box for these Lights. They might be Labeled ILLUMINATION, Not Sure But, They are in there. The Diagram of what is What should be Inside the Box Cover, If not, It is inside the Owners Manual. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!

SOURCE: Right brake light out; tail light works fine

most rear tail lights and turn/stop lights are the same dual filiment bulb. it is possible for your tail light to work and your brake light not to and still have a bad bulb. I would check the bulb first, your brake light works on the left yes? this would mean that the fuse is fine

Brake lights work but tail lights out - Help! (Thanks)

Tail lights are on a different fuse than the headlights. If you already checked the bulbs then check the fuses. They're under the dash, on the left side of the driver.
Hope this helps.

Turn signals not working

Suspect the multi-function switch. (turnsignal) these fail a lot.

1994 dodge dakota my headlights and tail lights and brake lights don't work my abs and parking brake lights are on my dash lights don't work either I replaced the headlight switch and still no

These are all different circuits. The brake lights are on a 10amp fuse - the headlights are on a 50amp fuse - and the parking and dash lights are on a 20amp fuse.
Do you have power going into the headlight switch and the brake light switch ?

My brake lights work but my tail lights and reverse lights don't work. Also my dash lights quit when I changed the switch for my headlights.

Check your fuses. I had the same problem with a 90 Honda civic. Dash lights went out, tail lights also went out. Replaced 1 fuse and all came back on.

Where is located the relay for the tail lights

Under ya hood in the fuse box. There is a relay that will blow when it is shorted out. Look on the inside of the cover and you will see just which one it is.... You can replace it with another one to see if the relay is bad or not......

No dash & tail lights

if your tail light's don't work it would be a stop switch it's right under the brake pedal.
