2006 grand jeep cherokee seat belt problem

Please advice to how i can fix my 2006 grand jeep cherokee! in the back seat, where the middle seat is located, for some reason, the seat belt is locked. i cannot pull it and its locked. i cannot use it at all. i tired to open the inside but i cannot locate where or how to open the back seat. please advice

    My rear middle safety belt was also loacked after I folded the seat down. I've tried to look how I can get to the safety belt anchor bolt behind the seat bench but I can't see how. I thought I could move the bench forward to gain access to the anchor but I just can't. Please help...

You have to get to the seat anchor bolt and remove it to take the tension off the seat belt and fold the seat up then it should come loose and you can pun the bold back in

I have a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The seat belt alarm goes off constantly with the seat belts fastened or not fastened.
There is an electrical contact in the bottom of the seat belt buckle, and associated wiring that has a connector under the seat. Check that with a multimeter for continuity.

Also, this is a function of the Body Control Module, so you may have a communication problem. This can only be solved or confirmed by getting an auto electrician to connect a pro grade scan tool computer to the OBDII port and checking.

The seat belt does not work on an ignition locking device. Need to remove side panel and visually inspect roller and gear locking mechanism.

You can unbolt the belt at the bottom under the seat. Its kinda hard to get to. Its connected to the left side belt release. Once unbolted you can replace the part. Or if you want you can atleast get it to release by letting it go all the way to the top. The only problem with that is the problem will come back.

I cant get the back seat middle seat belt to pull out
that is because it is hung up on one of the roller gear teeth within the strap that allows it to roll out. or either the assembly is stuck on the clip which holds it in place.

There is a switch in the seat belt latch whe your sitting in the seat this will ba the part o the right side, see if something went into the latch part? or the switch is bad i think you have to replace the belt to fix the switch

The airbag light is on because there is a problem with the system.
PLEASE do not try to fix the airbag problem yourself.
You could accidently activate the bag and get hurt.
