2006 ford expedition radio doesn't work

Just bought this expedition and the radio doesn't work. I removed the bezel on the dash, pulled radio out, and there is an antenna hooked up on the right rear, and a connector with wires on the left rear, but in the middle, there is a female socket for a connector that doesn't have anything plugged into it. I looked for a cable but couldn't find one. I checked all the fuses in the fuse box. Is the radio just not any good? Thanks for any help cause I'm not to good with wiring and such.

Some radios have a fuse inside them also.
I've found car radio's in general to be not so very good.
I'd not pitch it out until you can find someone reliable to test it.
Watch out though, some folks have a "vested interest".
That means they want to sell you a new one.
Be blessed.

Question edited for clarity and bad spelling of 'Expedition'.
Question moved to model category.
Quit typing in all CAPS, it is considered SHOUTING and RUDE. It is also harder to read!

This seldom works, and the reason is because the radio system and steering wheel controls are monitored and operated by the Body Control Module on the 5 volt Can Bus System. When you connect your new Android box, the computer won't have a clue what is going on! Be prepared for a whole heap of trouble.

The dash ac/heat control display lights don't work on my 2006 Ford expedition.

Most likely the bulb went out. Just pop out the panel and replace it.

How do i remove radio bezel on a 2006 kia sportage

These things are a breeze. First thing is
to remove the two outside trim pieces, which are secured by retaining clips. The best method I have found to remove these is by using a thin flat object like a small flat screwdriver, and insert it between the trim piece and the dash down low next to the center console.

Once you have freed the bottom, gently work the trim outwards untill you get to the top
of the dash, then the trim pieces pull slightly upwards, but mostly still
outwards (toward the seat). Once these are removed on both sides, you will find
four phillips screws securing the bezel. Remove these screws and partially pull it out. Disconnect all associated connectors, and move panel out of your way. Now you have access to the stereo, and that should get you to where you need to be; Hope this helps. You should be able to get to the
radio in about ten minutes or less.

The light for the odometer is out. How do I fix it? All of the other dash lights are working just fine.

The dash cluster has to come out, to get to the bulbs. The battery has to be disconnected. dash bezel around the cluster will pop off, usually a small flat screwdriver will help pop off the bezel. be careful not break the bezel, very thin abs material. after removing bezel, there will be maybe 4-6 small screws holding the cluster in. remove these screws and the cluster will pull out, be careful her also as there are wire behind here and connected to the cluster. the bulb will easily come out with a slight turn.

REMOVE THE RADIO FUSE FOR ABOUT 30 SECONDS THIS MAY RESET THE RADIO/CD PLAYER.

IF YOU DO INSTALL ANOTHER RADIO IT WILL HAVE TO BE PROGRAMMED AT A DEALER.

REMOVE THE COVERS ON THE SIDES OF THE DASH.

REMOVE THE GLOVE BOX ASSEMBLY.

REMOVE THE KNEE BOLSTER UNDER THE STEERING COLUMN.

PUT ON THE PARK BRAKE AND SHIFT THE CAR INTO NEUTRAL.

REMOVE THE BEZEL AROUND THE RADIO, CHECK THE LOWER CORNERS FOR SCREWS, PULL OUT CAREFULLY ON THE BEZEL.

2006 expedition power outlet not working

The fuse u want is:
FUSE #39 20 AMP (FUSE COLOR YELLOW) Console power points (front and
rear of console)

The fuse panel is located under the right-hand side of the instrument
panel.
To remove the trim panel for access
to the fuse box, pull the panel
toward you and swing it out away
from the side and remove it. To
reinstall it, line up the tabs with the
grooves on the panel, then push it
shut.
To remove the fuse box cover, place
a finger behind the PULL tab and
your thumb above the PULL tab as
shown in the illustration, then pull
the cover off.
